Is this perhaps related to the issue discussed on https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-API-Support-Feedback/Search-shared-folder-suddenly-doesn-t-work/td-p/655510? I started getting reports of this issue a few days ago, so it may be a bug that has been introduced recently.
