Dropbox-API for python on windows missing API V1?

I asked this on stack overflow and no answers so I'm trying again here. I have win 10 PC and Python 3.5.1 with dropbox latest version. API V1 seems to be unsupported. Calls to dropbox.client gives no...

Got it. Thanks.

I was confused. I didn't know V1 vs V2 so it turns out that I only followed V2's install instruction (no sdk install, just pip install dropbox). The raspberry pi may have the sdk installed in the distro.

Any hint when V1 will fall out of favor?
