Dropbox Paper folder creation API
The Dropbox Paper API allows to list folders, but not to create a new one.
It seems to be possible to create a folder from the Android app, so I suppose
there is probably a private endpoint to do this.
Is there any plan to add a public API endpoint to create a Dropbox Paper folder?
Thanks.

Thanks for the post! I can't say if or when the team may decide to implement this on the public API, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. - tuvistavie8 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Great, thank you!
I think the use case should be quite obvious, but if it might help, in my case I am working on a client to sync paper documents and I have currently no way to create a locally added folder to Paper using the API.

I'm currently building an integration for Rocket.Chat and I'm missing a way to organize the papers created through it.

I'm not aware of current plans to implement this unfortunately. - jondotcom7 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Has this feature made it onto the Dropbox Paper API roadmap? It's a key piece of the puzzle for us as we increasingly utilize Dropbox Paper in our automated workflows.

Good news, we've released an endpoint for creating a Paper folder via the API. You can find the documentation for it here:

Greg-DB That is great! Thanks to you and the Dropbox API Dev team for implementing this important feature.
