3 years agoDropbox doesn't offer official support or documentation for options for embedding files directly like that, and so any undocumented functionality like that is subject to change or break without notice.
If you want to embed a file from Dropbox on a third party site, you should use the functionality documented for the Dropbox Embedder here.

Hmm...🤔 There are no any type of such features; the same like embedding raw link! The issue comes from dropping the anchor, coming from redirection. As mentioned in other feature requests, there should be a way to keep some anchor (probably passed as parameter) that brings up at the last redirection. 😉 Such feature could be used in embedder too. In general should be some way for using anchor (not only for PDF formatting/navigation like in OP; it's just a good example).

Thank you. Only problem is you can't enable or disable print functionality with the dropbox embed, but I'm aware its been raised as a potential future addition.

Thanks for following up. That's correct, the Embedder doesn't offer options for that, but this has been sent along as a feature request.
