File Request API
Am I right in thinking that the file request naming protocols cannot be controlled by API? At the moment, if we create a file request by API, it seems to default to "[File/Folder Name] [Uploader Name]". We can turn this off manually in the file request, but that's not practical as we create a lot of file requests via API. Am I missing something? Even if there was a - or a _ in there, we could work with that, but currently we have no way of knowing where the file / folder name ends and the uploader name starts. Really frustrating. If Box allowed folder uploads in its "File Request", I would be using that over DropBox any day.
Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback! The Dropbox API does not currently offer the ability to control the file request naming conventions, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. I can't promise if or when that might be implemented though.
