File upload does not accept diacritic characters

We are using the Dropbox api as part of our app.  Now that we are migrating from v1 to v2, we noticed that any files with diacritics(Umlauts, Kanji, etc) do not upload correctly.  If I just send the ...

You should certainly be able to use characters like this. I'll be happy to help with any issues you're having with the Dropbox API, but I'll need some more information. Please reply with:

- the steps to reproduce the problem
- the name and version of the platform and SDK/library you are using
- the full text of the error/any output
- the relevant code snippet(s)
