The Dropbox document picker doesn't support opening folders, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. I can't promise if or when that might be implemented though.

I would like to request this feature as well - I am unable to sync folders of files in most applications and it would be really helpful to be able to do so!

Please please please make this work. It can't be more than a dozen lines of code, and you'll be able to say you beat those as*holes over at Google Docs to the punch. You're better and more intelligent and definitely more sexy that Google.
