ios sdk include_deleted

In the ios sdk (v1 for objc) is there any way to customize the requests for metadata so you do not get all the deleted files? I cannot find a way to set include_deleted to NO.

Hi Mike, the v1 iOS SDK doesn't currently offer a way to control the include_deleted parameter, but I'll be sure to pass this along as a feature request.

Note that the SDK is open source though, so you can modify it if/as desired.

Thanks for the confirmation although it is disappointing. As a 30+ year developer I find it hard to understand how you can put a library or framework out to enable developers to use your API, and make that framework deficient and not provide support for the FULL range of features the platform provides (especially after being out there for years). Of course, after seeing no support for objC yet in your v2 platform I am not surprised. It also makes me wonder what missing features I will find when I use your Android and PHP libraries as the app we are currently working on supports the other platforms as well.

However, even with its shortcomings DB is actually much easier to integrate and utilize than the competitors. GDrive, iCloud, and oneDrive are all VERY painful on their "nonnative" platforms even though a modicum of support is provided. But DB can't count on that forever.

By providing better API support across ALL the platforms DB could further distinguish itself and reserve itself a significant role in the future. Beyond user and storage infrastructure supporting app developers trying to integrate your platform should be THE priority.

I also commend you on responding to my query, something that would not have happened on the other platforms ;)

    Respectfully yours, MK
