Java - wait until file is finished syncing to dropbox
Hi,
I am new to this API so apologies in advanced if this question has an easy answer, but is there any way in Java to tell when a file is fully synced to Dropbox? I have files that need to be down...

10 years agoThe Dropbox API doesn't list any files that are still in the process of syncing, so you don't need to check if it's "fully synced". Any files available via the API, e.g., listed in /metadata or /delta, or accessible via /files (GET), are only the versions of the files that have been fully synced to the Dropbox servers.
If you need to perform operations on files/folders via the API, you can first use the API to check that the items that you expect to be available are in fact there.
