Public folder, image. Need link to preview
This opens a preview in browser

I need some link to open a preview (preferably right to comments) in mobile app (using iOS).
I expected universal links to do it.
But link opens in app only to folder. Ignoring document (preview= field).
Thanks in advance!

First statement: "opens in browser" means when I'm on my Mac it does open preview as expected.

Rich, I'm after an API.
I'm talking about files in public folder. Not of my user. Of somebody else. - Rich9 years ago

Moved to the API forum.

Hi Alexander, unfortunately, Dropbox doesn't currently an API for linking to previews in the mobile apps for items in folder shared links like this. I'll be sure to pass this along as a feature request though.

Gregory,
After some digging (you know), I've figured I need to try other options.Flickr has 1Tb of space, API for comments, universal links that do open in app and more.
