Ruby dropbox_api Loses Downloaded File

Something strange started to happen.  I was working with a downloaded file, then it disappeared.  I've checked the /Apps/projectfolder and the file is still there.  All is good.  The gem asks for filenames that I can download and it's in the list.  But when I go to download it into /tmp/ (as the gem requires), it's reporting that it doesn't exist.

I've tried to troubleshoot this but nothing seems logical at this point because it's getting me nowhere.

Any insight appreciated.  Cheers

    Hello Rich F.5,

I'll be happy to help with any issues you're having with the Dropbox API, but I'll need some more information. Please reply with:

    • the name and version number of the platform and SDK/library you are using, if any
    • the steps to reproduce the issue, including relevant code snippet(s), but don't include any access or refresh token(s)
    • the full text of any error or unexpected output

Alternatively, you can open an API ticket with the above information using the following link:

I think I might have solved it.  I'll reply if things aren't solved.
