Team Member Information, Auditing, and Management
Hi,
I'm looking to create an OAuth application that will support Team Information, Team Auditing AND Team Member Management. Which if the four access should I select to get all 3 of these permissions? It appears on the surface that Team Member File Access is the only option to get all 3 -- is this correct?
Thanks,
Brian

No, unfortunately there isn't a single permission that combines what you're looking for, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. You can find information on the different Dropbox Business API access types here:
https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/teams#access-types
If you need all three of information, auditing, and membership management, you'll need to register at least two apps, one for each of "team auditing" and "team member management":

(The "team member file access" permission is for managing files. The "team member management" permission has access to team information, but not auditing.) - briangeihsler7 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Thanks Greg. How can we get this feedback to the product team? We'd like more control over the permissions so we don't have to create separate applications.

I've already sent this along internally, so you don't need to do anything else. Thanks!

I just wanted to follow up on this to let you know that we've released "scopes" functionality on the Dropbox API, which you can use to access various different pieces of team functionality from the same app.
You can find more information about the release in our blog post here:
