This app is not valid when trying to authenticate with Oauth

I'm trying to connect Salesforce to Dropbox and I've created an app on Dropbox.  I've set up the Auth provider and have a URI redirect setup, but no matter if I use the actual URI, I always get the "This app is not valid" error message.I've verified the App key as the client id several times and it's correct, also verified all the scopes and all. All seems fine to me, can anybody please help me on this ?

    Hi taslim

Could you share the full authorization URL you are navigation to in order to authorize your app?

taslim we would need the full url, with the parameters included, as such:

    https://www.dropbox.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=<APP_KEY>&response_type=code&scope...

taslim it appears as though the client_id on the authorization URL is not valid—it is missing some characters from the actual client ID.

That said, the following URL directs me to the authorization page of your app without issues:

     https://www.dropbox.com/oauth2/authorize?response_type=code&scope=files.content.write+file_requests.write&state=12345&client_id=lrhq0vigziuztjc&redirect_uri=https://dxx003brk549oeab.lightning.force-com.0curt5aliq2e194p70vib9ii10cbu.aa.crm.dev:6101/services/extidp/callback

    Hi taslim

I'm still not able to replicate the issue you are reporting. Navigating to the provided authorization URL directs me to the expected authorization flow.

Try the following steps to see if that resolves your issue:

    • Open a private browsing/incognito window: Cached data and cookies can sometimes cause issues. Opening a private window should resolve problems in this case.
    • Disable add-ons and extensions: Certain add-ons and extensions can interfere with expected browser behavior. Disable them and refresh the page.
    • Clear cookies and cache: Clearing your cache and cookies can often fix display issues.
    • Update your browser: Making sure your browser is up to date can prevent compatibility issues.
    • Try another browser: The issue you’re facing could be specific to the browser you’re using. Trying a different browser may solve the problem.
