Attempting to upload a file or create a folder with a space in the path won't automatically return a conflict just because of the space. There are a number of different cases that can result in conflicts though. You should check the response body for a more specific error. You can look up the error to determine exactly what caused the error. For example, it occur if there's already something at the specified path.
