Display snippets of file content

Hi, I am using the dropbox api, I would like to show a preview of the content of the file that my user select, like how it is showed when accessing dropbox through the browser, how can I achieve that...

To access file content, you can use /2/files/download. Once you retrieve the content for any particular file, you can display the desired portion of the content in your UI.

 

By the way, that's a link to the documentation for the HTTPS endpoints themselves, but we recommend using one of the official SDKs if possible. Those have corresponding native methods for the HTTPS endpoints.
