Generate downloadable links

7 years agoYes, the Dropbox API does offer a way to programmatically create shared links like that.
Note that the other forum thread isn't exactly describing what you want to do though.
To create shared links using the Dropbox API, you should use the /2/sharing/create_shared_link_with_settings endpoint:
That's a link to the documentation for the HTTPS endpoints themselves, but we recommend using one of the official SDKs if possible:

Those have corresponding native methods for the HTTPS endpoints.
The SDKs each come with documentation that show how to get started with them, if you wish to use one.
