A bunch of folders are missing
Nothing was deleted and no one else has access, but several of my older folders (from the 2010s) have disappeared all of a sudden. No idea why or how to retrieve them. Happening on web and mobile. I'm assuming there's some sort of bug happening with Dropbox?

There isnt a known outage etc. on here, so, if they arent appearing they have been removed from your account (or never made it in first place).
What is www.dropbox.com/events showing?
Were they a share? Has it been unshared?

Nothing has been shared. The only items listed in events are files that I added to a different folder today and ones that I edited. I don't know when this occurred b/c I'm not in those files often, but I am highly concerned that they have just vanished without me actually doing anything to them.

Hi bbruth, if you're not seeing the missing files on the deleted files page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case:
- The files are on another Dropbox account
- They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more
- The files were deleted outside of the 30 day period
- The files were permanently deleted
Is it possible that any of the above could be true? Do you have anyone else that could have access to your machine or account?

An entire directory of mine is missing as well.
