Automation of subfolders to keep the same pattern as the parent.
Is there a way to enable all new subfolders to automatically have the same automation as the parent folder, or even the grandparent folder? As far as I can see there isn't one.

3 years agoHey jeromemuller, thanks for the additional info and screenshots.
Do you see the same if you try this from a different browser or a private browsing window as well?

Exactly the same on Safari...or an anonymous page...
While trying to set it up again...the only difference is that it gives me the option to also convert already existing files...but this does not apply to the sub-folders either.

Thanks for the screenshot and the additional information jeromemuller - much appreciated.
Could you maybe create a new folder and try to set this automation there? Does it work normally with files added to sub-folders?

Hi Wagner,
Below the image with the new created folder:While creating sub-folder manually, there is the option to choose the option to also add an automation to them.
But when when we do not add this automation manually, files are not converted, which in that case does not meet our need, as the files uploaded via our solution create a folder per user and per conversation when they share files in them. But this creation of folders is an automated process, so not possible to add manually an automation process for the conversion of files.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this internally jeromemuller - most appreciated!
So, we've confirmed that the automation inheritance (i.e. the new sub-folders also get the same automation as the parent) is not available yet to users, but we've been testing it internally and have plans to implement it very soon, so we'll keep make sure to keep you posted with any updates that might come our way.
I know it's not much, but I sure hope this helps, Jerome.
