Sorting folders by date created
Dear Dropbox developers,
First of all, I really love how Dropbox is always innovating and always coming with new cool features, thanks for that! However, I am struggling with a problem for some time now. I have a lot of folders which I really need to sort on the date I created these folders, could you guys enable this function? I would appreciate it a lot! Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
Marijn

Hi Jay,
As far as I know of, this function is neither on the site, the app or local. On all platforms it doesn't say when the folder was created while I would love to see that and to be able to sort the folders to date modified/created.

We appreciate the feedback on this matter. Currently, this isn't supported by the Dropbox system, as creation dates are not stored for folders.
Depending on your file system, if your Dropbox desktop application is running and installed, then you can see the folder creation dates from within Explorer/Finder.

Your answer seems confusing as the date of creation of the folder is available in the Info /tags/folder properties tab to the right of the screen. As such the organization of the folders by date created should be available. This is a VERY important to Customers especially those who want to keep their storage to a minimum under the plan they have purchased.
