Photos uploading sideways

Portrait photos have today started uploading sideways. Has never done this before and was not like this yesterday. Today photos are sideways. Are these still a back up of original photo?

It’s only been since yesterday that this is happening. All previously uploaded photos look okay on mine. Something has changed in the last couple of days. Does anyone from DB ever read these and offer solutions?

I tried taking a picture with my iPad thinking it may just be my iPhone 11 but that photo is upside down when it loaded to Dropbox. Any photo you take since yesterday is the wrong orientation.

    I am facing the same issue with orientation from yesterday.  How should this be  escalated to dropbox team?

      Same with me.
      I am also having cropping issues.

      As in, IF I rotate the image that Dropbox automatically rotates back to the way I want it and THEN crop that upright image as I want it, it saves with the crop applied as if i had never

        To complete my thought...

        ...it saves with the crop applied as if i had never corrected the rotation in the first place.
