Saving image to Dropbox in iOS saves as URL
On iOS, when I save an image from Safari to the Dropbox app, before saving, the file name shows as a url file (and saves as a URL). I suspect today’s update causes this, because I was able to do this...

Dropbox Staff
Hi everyone, thanks for reporting this behavior, our team is aware of this behavior.
In the meantime, could you try the following workarounds to save files/images, each bullet point is a different way of saving the file:
- Select 'Copy' then go to the Dropbox app and hit '+' -> 'Paste'.
- Hit "Save Photo" and then upload via '+' > 'Upload photos'.
- Copy the URL and open it in Safari then use the 'Share' button inside Safari (when on the file and not long-pressing it'll save the file itself).
We appreciate your patience on this matter.
