Bought a new Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop, Windows 11, last Dec. Since then, my photos disappear after uploading from my Samsung Galaxy phone. Photos file and screenshot file are still in my Dropbox App on the laptop, but photos don't show up. Also got a storage limit alert email. In the last two weeks also noticed that control-print screen screenshots not showing up in Dropbox screenshot file ? Is this just Windows trying to force me to use their program ?58Views0likes2CommentsHow can I force the mobile app to upload photos on Android?
Device Google Pixel 8 Operating System/Browser (if using the web) macOS 15.6 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 454.2.2 Syncing Status Up to date Question or Issue I am re-using the same question title as a question I found from seven years ago. I am experiencing the same issue as the original poster. I take a photo on my phone, and it does not immediately sync to Dropbox. I am on wifi on my phone, and I don't have any settings limiting upload to certain battery percentages. On my computer it says "Your files are up to date." I can open the app on my phone, navigate to the Camera Uploads folder and pull down to "force a refresh" but it does nothing. Going to the Photos tab at the bottom is even more useless, because you can't pull to refresh. I have to wait hours or days for it to decide to sync, which is frustrating when I want the photo on my computer immediately. I don't have any other apps that sync files or photos from my phone. When I go into the camera settings in the Dropbox app, I can even see the most recent photo (the one that won't sync) in the preview, it just does not show up in my Dropbox!59Views0likes4CommentsChanging the location of Camera upload folder

I have read that as of October 2019, Dropbox no longer supports connection to the Samsung "My Files" app. I suggest that Dropbox reconsiders this decision, because: 1. Other big companies' cloud storage services such as OneDrive and Google Disk are allowing connection to the Samsung "My Files" app. 2. Dropbox already allows connection to the iOS "Files" app. 3. This encourages Samsung users to easily use Dropbox within one files app, which could convert them into paid users. 4. This will not take away from the usage of the Dropbox app, since many great features are still needed to be used on the Dropbox app itself. The Samsung "My Files" app just helps to easily reach the stored files of many cloud storage services in one place, and nothing more after that. Thank you Dropbox team for all your wonderful efforts for us.3.2KViews8likes4CommentsThe Requested Operation Couldnât Be Completed error - Dragging & Dropping into Files app on iPad
Dragging and dropping error using the stock files app on iPad OS (13 latest) with the latest version of Dropbox installed. Each time I try to drag and drop a file using the files app I'm greeted with an error message: The requested operation couldn't be completed because the feature is not supported. Any ideas to fix it? Or is it just another Dropbox issue that won't ever get addressed like the missing favourites bug? Note, dragging and dropping works flawlessly using Google Drive, One Drive, iCloud etc. I've tried removing and redownloaded Dropbox etc.8.6KViews2likes26Comments- 9.2KViews0likes5Comments
