Device iPhone 17 pro max Operating System/Browser (if using the web) iOS 26 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 444.2.2 Question or Issue Moving to a new iPhone and installed dropbox app. However, camera uploads is very buggy. It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.157Views1like6CommentsDropbox on iPhone hasn't synced in a year. I've tried everything.
Help!!! My Dropbox app on my iPhone has not synced in over a year... I have a Iphone 13 mini, running iOS 18.7.2. I have tried logging in/out of my Dropbox account, deleting the App and downloading it again from the App Store, clearing my cache, restarted my iPhone, unlinked and linked back to my laptop and NOTHING is working.... For reference I am attaching a screenshot which shows my files sorted by Modified" and it shows that the last file which was modified was over a year ago. I use files in my Dropbox multiple times everyday. Any thoughts on what I can try? It's really frustrating.Solved84Views0likes9CommentsToday's date is added to the filenames of my photos, when I upload them via the iOS mobile app.
I'm going into the Dropbox app on iPhone and uploading photos. The photos file names are uploading with today's date. How can I get it to upload with the date the photo was captured?108Views0likes3CommentsI can't save my receipts as PDFs to the iOS mobile app, only as a URL.
I like to save my receipts on iPhone for example from a receipt from Square that opens up in Safari. Previously I would be able to choose "Save to Dropbox" and it would save a PDF of the receipt. But now Dropbox only gives the option to save a ".url" which just saves a url link to the receipt on Dropbox. Deleted and Reinstalled Dropbox App. Didn't fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? iPhone 12 - iOS 18.7 / Dropbox App 448.2.251Views0likes2CommentsWhy are my cell phone and laptop not in sync with Dropbox?
I have an Android phone and a Windows 11 laptop. I made changes to a document in Dropbox from my computer but when I pull up the document on my phone, it does not reflect the changes. Tried to go to "settings" in Dropbox, but can't find settings! Googled it but that was no help.Solved115Views0likes6CommentsI need to reset my Camera Uploads and re-upload my photos
Hello, I need to reset the camera upload on my iPhone so that dropbox will sync the entire photo library again. How can I do that? I understand that there's no option to do that myself, since I'm on the basic plan, but Support can do it for me. If a Dropboxer here could open a ticket on my behalf I would be grateful. Thank you ! Device Samsung Galaxy Z flip 7 phone 2025 Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Android 16 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 446.2.4 Question or Issue It just gets stuck saying, waiting to upload. I've contacted my phone provider and they have assured me, repeatedly, that is not a problem on their end. I've tried resetting my device and uninstalling and reinstalling to dropbox application.76Views0likes1CommentIt takes a while for my Android to upload my camera roll
So it looks like dropbox doesn't immediately upload my camera roll. It usually takes several hours but sometimes it never seems to happen. I read the help guides about battery optimization for Android but the settings are way different on my end. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.117Views0likes12CommentsCan't import photos from iPhone on Mac OS when I connect it for the second time
I have Dropbox (now version 233.4.4938) as an app on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, but the issue has persisted across many versions. I regularly want to upload new photos from my iPhone SE, now version iOS 18.6.2. When I enable Camera Uploads (under Preferences > Backups), the first time I connect my iPhone any new photos do get uploaded as intended. But on the second and any subsequent connections, an annoying popup appears, stating, Can’t import photos from this device. I need to disconnect my phone, turn Camera Uploads off and on again, and reconnect my phone, to get new photos uploaded. But most of the time there are no new photos anyway, I just want to connect my phone. The annoying thing about this popup is that it quite large and remains on top until I click it away, so I cannot just ignore it. Is there a way (that does not cost money) to avoid this while remaining able to upload photos?Solved229Views0likes12CommentsHow can I force Dropbox to re-upload all my phone photos?
Device iPhone 15 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 442.22 Syncing Status "Up to date" Question or Issue I discovered today (when I happened to look in the "Camera uploads" settings) that I can upload Live Photos from my iPhone to Dropbox as Live Photos. Unfortunately, that setting had defaulted to "Still Photo", so all my photos until now have uploaded as stills, even if they're Live Photos on my phone. I've just changed the setting to "Live Photo" and a new Live Photo I just took has successfully uploaded to Dropbox and I can see it and play it on dropbox.com. I would like to reupload all my Live Photos from my iPhone to Dropbox but I can't work out how to force Dropbox to do that (it thinks I've already uploaded those photos and doesn't spot them when scanning). I can't export the Live Photos as a single photo (exporting originals from Mac Photos separates the file into the two separate .heic/.jpg and .mov files; adding those to Dropbox manually just adds them as separate files, which I don't really want). This post (https://www.dropboxforum.com/discussions/101001014/how-to-reset-my-camera-uploads-i-tried-everything/629512) from three years ago suggests that dropbox support needs to do something to my account to enable Dropbox to re-upload photos from a phone, is that still the case? And how would I request that, please?113Views0likes4Comments
