Sending a file securely

I want to share a file with personal information in it with my son and daughter.  If I send it to them via email, will it remain encrypted during the transfer and on their computers?

Hey there DebEd42, thanks for reaching out to us here!

From what you mentioned, do you mean attaching the file within an email to send it? If so, then there are a few methods I would suggest instead which should be more secure.

If those you want to share the data with have their own Dropbox accounts, I would recommend sharing the file with the steps outlined here.

If they don't have their own accounts, then perhaps you could use Dropbox Transfer to send them the file and simply delete the link after it's been downloaded.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
