Nice to see that nearly 9 months after we started asking there is still no actual release or candidate notes on this. Dropbox just doesnt care about users does it clientreleases ?

I uninstalled the Dropbox app and switched to https://maestral.app which uses the official Dropbox API and does everything I want without any of the other crap I don't want (Dropbox paper, etc).
It's free but I am a GitHub sponsor. Other than that I am not connected to the project at all.

TJ Luoma yep Maestral seems super nice, the only thing it still lacks is the support for Dropbox's smart sync (fundamental for me). I guess that might be an issue also in the long story in giving us a full Apple Silicon support.
