My Dropbox is on this build but it is still not using the new file provider extension.
System: macOS 12.3 and M1 Pro Macbook.

Same to me, buy I'm using a Intel MBP 13' 2020. And I've got checked the preliminaries versions option in my Dropbox settings.

So there is a new setting I think in the web UI settings for your user...
"Smart Sync update for Mac" either on of off (off on my setup). That is in addition to the "Dropbox system extension" setting. Has anyone else seen this and for those having issues with the Monterey setup have you tried turning it on?

"Smart Sync update for Mac" has always been enabled for me; this is not a new setting. I don't know if this setting has anything to do with why Dropbox is still not using the File Provider extension. I will disable it to see if anything changes and then post an update here.
