Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes.
In this update:
- Long filenames during conflict filename generation will be safely truncated. Previously, if a filename was under the length limit and a conflicted copy was needed, the new copy's filename would be too long and could not be created. With this fix, we safely truncate the filename while generating the conflicted copy's filename so the copy can be created.
- Users with Camera Uploads & Autoplay disabled will no longer have .dropbox.device files created in external volumes on Windows.

Hi Hannah C
Really am pleased to see them back - they've been a LONG time coming!
Just a shame to see that it seems to have been a one off thing, however, as they havent appeared on other posts: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-desktop-client-builds/Beta-Build-147-3-4761/td-p/590504

Hi Mark,
We started with Stable releases but we are hoping to add release notes to both Beta & Stable releases soon, so definitely be on the look out for that!
Thanks!
