How can I edit a Numbers file on my iPad?
Hi, I have permission for 3 devices but can only edit a Numbers spreadsheet on my iMac. Any idea how I can edit the spreadsheet on my iPad??

Hi Sadie2025, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
According to this page, how many devices do you currently have connected on your Dropbox account?
Is your iPad currently one of those devices listed?
This will help me to assist further!

Have you signed in to Dropbox on the iPad using the same account (email address) that you used on your Mac? Can you see the iPad on the list of linked devices on your Security page?

Hi Jay
I have 3 devices (iPhone, iPad and iMac) connected to my Dropbox account. After much hard work I seem to have found out how to do these edits on the iPad. I have moved the documents to Numbers (on my iMac I think) and then I am able to do the edit through Numbers on my iPad. I then upload the documents back onto Dropbox on my iPad and them to replace the existing copies in Dropbox. A rather convoluted way of achieving what I wanted but I got there in the end!!
Many thanks for your response. Any comments on my workaround would be useful!
Sarah
