Delete Dropbox folder from PC after uninstalling?

Hi,

as the Dropbox took up too much storage space on my PC, I decided to uninstall it and only use it online in the browser.

There are still Dropbox folders on my harddrive which take up a lot of storage space, but can I delete them now without worrying they'll be deleted from the actual Dropbox account, too?

Thank you for your answers.

As long as you've uninstalled the Dropbox app, or unlinked your computer from your account, you can safely delete the Dropbox folder from your computer.
