Text-Dateien im Browser bearbeiten
Hallo,
ich habe eine .txt-Datei in meiner Dropbox. Ich bin im Browser eingeloggt und kann die Datei anzeigen (durch anklicken), aber nicht bearbeiten. Einen zusätzlicher Button zum Bearbeiten sehe ich nicht.
Funktioniert das nicht, oder bin ich gerade zu blind? Es scheint eine Möglichkeit zu geben, Office-Dateien zu bearbeiten, also denke ich mal, es sollte auch für einfache Textdateien möglich sein.

The Open button will only display if either of the following conditions are met:
*1* - If a user is looking at the preview for an Office file, they will see options to "Open in Office Online" (only .docx, .xlsx & .pptx, the mobile and legacy versions aren't supported)
*2* - If a user is looking at the preview for a file that they have downloaded to their local Dropbox Folder, the Dropbox software is running and they are signed into the same account on web & desktop, they will see options to open the local copy of the file using an application on their computer
If none of those conditions are true, a 'Download' button is shown instead

sorry - eine App für einfache Textdateien ist vermutlich bei jedem Desktoprechner "on board".
Vermutlich gibt es deshalb im Webinterface nur diese 2 Menüpunkte unter dem "Öffnen"-button oben rechts.
Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Leider gibt es bei mir kein "Öffnen":
Die Datei heißt "drucker.txt".
Übrigens, wenn ich "Herunterlade", werden Änderungen an der Datei (natürlich) auch nicht wieder hochgeladen. Klappt das, wenn du es in TextEdit öffnest und die Datei wieder abspeicherst? Kann ich mir auch nicht vorstellen. Deshalb würde ich eigentlich ein Webinterface erwarten.
