Office2016がインストールされたwindowsPCでのエラー

お世話になります。 Office2016がインストールされたwindowsPCでのエラー発生についてご相談です。 Dropboxをブラウザ（chrome）で表示させた際に、保存しているファイル（エクセルファイル）を開こうとしますと、ファイル形式が違うというメッセージが出て開くことができません。 同様の操作を、Office2013がインストールされたパソコンでは問題なくできております。 ど...

いくつか質問させてください。

 

開けないのは特定のファイルでしょうか？すべてのエクセルファイルでしょうか？

拡張子は何でしょうか？

Office2016で編集・保存したファイルでしょうか？

PC上のDropboxフォルダーでは開けますでしょうか？
