Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB, or more than 4 TB with the add on
Hello,
I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.

DROPBOX could you pls reply?
Customer service / support has always seemed quite useless to me in the past so I know there isnt any point emailing them.
Anyone else know how we could escalate this?

rafajacinto and as I said, jottacloud sucks big time (it's merely for uploading pics lol) and backblaze equally since it only works as a mirror. Nothing that can be compared to Dropbox.

shinbeth as i said, jottacloud is not as good as dropbox. but it is good enough to mirror files ans share them. it costs much less, it is pretty fast and it is unlimited.
the point is if you want to keep posting here that dropbox doesn’t care about its customers or if you want a solution.
to me jottacloud works, backblaze is a backup option.

Benjamin Gordon I gave iCloud a try for my Mac but it's nowhere near Dropbox, it's only geared toward syncing Apple products contents and doesn't work like Dropbox, so not an option sadly.
Blackblaze, I tried but only works as a mirror, and much slower. So not an option for me.
Jottacloud, gave it a quicky try a few months ago, not convinced, it's not as mature as Dropbox.
Google Drive I use it occasionally to share files but I've tried and even though they offer up to 30TB it's nowhere near as good as Dropbox. Also much slower sync and more limits per individual files that Dropbox doesn't really have. Also Google Drive doesn't handle well some extensions, whereas Dropbox is flawless. So not an option either.

Alternatives to dropbox:
Backblaze - not the same thing. it works as a mirror for you local drives. but it is highly recommended.
Jottacloud - quite similar to dropbox, unlimited space (although over 5tb the speeed is reduced). it is from norway and has a good reputation on privacy.
Google drive
Icloud
I chose Jottacloud and so not regret. I’m speaking by myself. The app is not so good as deopbox but it works pretty well.

icloud?

does anyone know how we could escalate this to someone high up at dropbox?
an email perhaps.

I gave up about six months ago. I moved to another service, paying less and with unlimited space. I was a dropbox user for 10+ years and I was used to its app.
I do not regret. Now I don’t need to worry with space anymore. The app is not as good as deopbox but at the end it doesn’t really matter.
I’m writing this because I still get dropbox messages in my email asking me to upgrade to business plan, even though I’m not paying it anymore for months.
It is not worth it to keep with a service that down give a sh** to its customers.

Glad to see that the Admins of this forum are still ignoring this request. I guess everyone at Dropbox is just allergic to money.
Here you have literally HUNDREDS of people asking for a price tier of ONE user with variable size levels. A HUGE INCREASE OF INCOME from people who on principle refuse to pay for three users when they are just a single user.
And what does Dropbox do?
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
I hope whoever runs this forum gets fired once the upper brass find out how neglectful these employees are.
I guess I need to start sending this TWELVE PAGE long feature request to all the Board Members to get any interest here.
