Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB, or more than 4 TB with the add on
Hello,
I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.

How many more comments like this are necessary before a more flexible plan for individuals is created? I'm a sole proprietor photographer and videographer and need add-on storage options as my need for more storage grows! It can't be this hard to create something like this.

I just want to jump on board here and say that I am desperate for an option to increase space for an individual account as well. I'm an educator and digital artist doing design work, video art, etc., and have recently began working with AI models. And extra 2TB, from 3 to 5 as a max, would be super. 7TB as a max would be even better. Please, please consider offering this. 🙏

I just purchased a Macbook M3 with 8TB of internal SSD and I'm so sad to find out I can't use Dropbox because Pro account will only allow me 3TB (+ only 1 TB extra in Settings, that's max 4TB - but I need 8TB!!)
Please don't advise me to go Business I don't need it, as it creates a 3-user repository which I don't want/need.
Change your Pro offering immediately thanks, 3TB is just not enough for 2023 freelancers working in music/video editing, coding, etc.

Agreed.
The current business model needs reviewed. One should not have to upgrade membership to buy additional space. It should be offered on a per HB or per TB.

Can you please provide an offering to add more space to any subscription model based on user needs.
A user should not have to upgrade a subscription to get additional space.
Incremental space should be offered on several options for example
per 250GB monthly cost is $3
etc, or 1TB monthly cost is $8

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this. Dropbox recently launched the new Essentials plan, which I know this doesn't solve your need for more than 3TB of storage, so I have shared these comments with the team, and we will update you if there are any changes in the future.
Our ideas are reviewed regularly, so that is still a way to show your support for different plan types as well. Sorry that I can't offer you a better solution right now, but we appreciate the feedback.

Ok. I became interested and studied alternative solutions to the fixed and immobile structure of Dropbox... and I found the PCloud offer => 10 TB for life in a single payment of 1190 euros very interesting (with the possibility, in the future, to increase the TB package). I truly believe that I will soon overcome my natural reluctance to change (change is always a little tiring) but I will say goodbye to Dropbox. Tiring but necessary, in this case. What a pity

yep. way behind. i’m moving to icloud because of dropbox’s lack of flexibility for individual users.

Apple just boosted their plans to up to 12TB of cloud storage for $59.99 per month. Dropbox offers 9TB for $60 total ($20 per user to a minimum of 3). I like dropbox but they are a bit behind with cloud storage and their plans.
