Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB, or more than 4 TB with the add on
Hello,
I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.

Wow Nancy, Dropbox gives new meaning to "We are prompt no matter how long it takes." Seriously, 3 years worth of comments, and the best we get from Dropbox is "we are still looking into this"? Im curious, just how long on average does it take to review and decide on a new feature at Dropbox? Disappointing at best.

The single-person package with 6t-12t options must be launched as soon as possible.
I think there is no technical difficulty in this, just the business account needs to be clear.
This is very important for individual users such as us who do video and graphic design!
Thank you very much! - Benjamin Gordon11 months agoHelpful | Level 7

Good to know. One year ago I moved to Jottacloud. I pay less than Dropbox for unlimited space (over 5tb it slows down). It work really nice, there’s an app and it is very similar to Dropbox. The search is not so good but the interface and design are pretty clean.

I officially moved to IDrive a couple weeks ago. Ran across a special to get 10TB for one year for $4.98, then $99.50 per year after the initial year. The current standard price for 10TB is $149.50 per year.
Now, IDrive does NOT have all the bells and whistles that Dropbox does, but it fits my personal needs. I can share files with clients and I can sync two computers (home and studio) so that I don't have to shuttle a physical drive between the two. (IDrive also allows for backup and even allows for cloning, if you get that far into computer work, in addition to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace integration. It can even back up Dropbox. 🤨) - evbond11 months agoNew member | Level 2
Yep I too am a solo designer in the same boat as all of you! I am up to 3.7Gb of my 4Gb and am constantly having to move files to external drives and other cloud platforms (which are honestly not as good) Have been with Dbx since the beginning and all colleagues and client share folders are inextricably linked to it's hard to just move. But if something doesn't happen soon I may be forced to migrate everything over to Box or another inferior solution. SO frustrating as that is hours worth of work and I just don't have the time to migrate all of my files - most of them are in offline mode on my MBP already so they neeed to be made onine to move - it's a right faff! Much rather just pay for more storage!
