Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB, or more than 4 TB with the add on
Hello,
I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.

Hi all.
Ive got a 3TB account with a 1TB extra but I need more space and dont want to have to pay for multiple users on the business plan just to get more space.
Does Dropbox not offer any more space to an individual whether business or personal?????
This seems quite mad!
Thanks!

Almost two years and seventeen pages worth of comments but no new plans yet. Please create a 5 and 10 TB one-user plan! I have a second cloud storage service because I don't have enough space on Dropbox, and will move away from Dropbox if there won't be a solution.

Let’s move on. Dropbox is not giving a sh*t about us. It’s been 6 or more months I transferred all my files to another cloud service and I don’t regret.

I've been part of this thread for years. It's clear there is no actual profitable business in it for Dropbox or they'd have done it by now. They are in business to make money first and foremost over and above meeting a customer need. It's not a charity either. Those of us screaming for more storage have need of it and we would actually use it...increasing bandwidth and storage costs for Dropbox, probably greater than the additional TB fee would support. What they want are lots of really low utilization accounts paying the monthly fee anyway which maximizes profits. High maintenance customers aren't as profitable. AND THAT'S WHY YOU DONT HAVE MORE STORAGE.

Please allow me to pay for more than 3TB of storage!! This is a nightmare.

I'm running up against the 4TB limit and may have to find an alternate company if there's no mechanism to get more space. I dont need any additional users...just more space.

Seriously starting to look at dropbox alternatives because of this, kinda crazy that they won't let us give them more money for more storage... Love dropbox but this artificial limitation seems out of touch.

I'm a photographer that does a little design work on the side. I would love to be able to get to more storage space. I deliver finished files to clients via Dropbox and store work files so that I can work from studio or home. 5-10-15TB would be capacities that I would be interested in seeing offered.

How long does this take to be fully investigated? This is actually stopping me from buying a bigger Mac Studio. 🤬
