What OS are you running? I just want to double check something.
Did you by any chance download the Beta for Windows LTS(Long Term Support for Windows 7, 8, 8.1)?

I'm currently running Windows 7 Home Premium 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1) x64
I downloaded the Offline Installer (64 Bit) for V233.3.4791 which i believe is the correct download of that version for my OS.

What? No, it's common practice for services to stop supporting OBSOLETE operating services, which as far as i know Windows 7 isn't.
Also what do you mean Windows 7 has been "replaced"? The last time i checked, the only operating systems microsoft have come out with since 7 were 8, 10 and 11, all of which have failed to surpass windows 7. Not to mention the chromium problem which is one of the leading reasons why many windows users are either moving back to Windows 7 or Linux. - Neal3 months ago

Hi Sin_Shadow_Fox,
I understand the concern but unfortunately it is common practice for services to reduce support for older operating systems as time goes on. Windows 7 was released 16 years ago and has been replaced by multiple operating systems since then.

What? Why? What does Dropbox have against windows 7?

I don't believe it will as Windows 7 will only be supported by the Simplified version of Dropbox.
So unfortunately, unless you upgrade your OS, you won't have access to dark mode.

Well ,for now there is nothing to upgrade my OS to, unless i want to switch to Linux. So when will dark mode leave beta and be implemented in the public version?

Okay, this makes sense.
So I looked into this and unfortunately for older OS, (like Windows 7), we don't support the latest Beta version. In regards to older versions being listed on the Client Release post I sent you, that seems to be an oversight that I'll address right now.
Unfortunately, unless you upgrade your OS, Dark Mode will not be available.
