Shared Color Tags / Visual Labels in Shared Folders

It would be extremely useful if color tags or file highlights could be made visible to all collaborators in a shared Dropbox folder. Many teams rely on visual cues for workflow, and this would reduce confusion and improve coordination. Please consider enabling this feature across shared folders — similar to how macOS tags or Google Drive priority labels work.

I’d love it if the colored tags I apply to files in my Dropbox folder (on my computer) were visible to others in shared folders—so that anyone I’m collaborating with can see which files I’ve tagged and how.

Thanks for posting this on our forum, jo1971

To clarify, this is something that you’d like to have on the Dropbox website, correct? I’m asking because, at the moment, Dropbox tags are only available on www.dropbox.com.

As for the file highlights that you mention, can you clarify how these would work exactly and provide more details?

Give me a nudge, when you have more info.
