Replay Product Update - September 2025
We’re excited to share the latest improvements to Dropbox Replay. This update focuses on security, accessibility, and usability—making Replay a more reliable and inclusive experience for everyone.
👌 Security: Important security fixes applied to ensure a safer experience when collaborating on Replay.
👩💻 Accessibility: Following a recent accessibility audit, we’ve addressed critical issues to improve usability for all customers:
- Enhanced keyboard navigation for smoother control without a mouse.
- Improved screen reader integration for better support of assistive technologies.
🗣️ Usability Improvements: When moving content, Replay now properly displays all available target folders - ensuring you can always find the right destination.
💬 Feedback Migration: We’ve transitioned our Voice of Customer feedback tools from Canny to dropboxforum.com. This means you can now share your ideas and track product updates directly in the Dropbox Forum, alongside our broader customer community.

Thanks for your interest in integrating with Replay 🙌! Right now the API isn’t on our roadmap, but we’d love to learn more about your needs. What kind of functionality would be most useful for you if we exposed it through the API?
Also, when you say “API” are you thinking about a set of public REST endpoints, or some other way of plugging Replay into your workflow? Your feedback will help us shape future priorities 🚀

Maciej Ciesinski Yea, a way to programatically push multiple projects (not just videos, also pictures, documents, etc.) to use replay for reviews of dropbox (or other) files.

Got it 👍! So for your use case, the key thing would be having an Upload API for Replay - kind of like what Dropbox’s Upload API offers - so you could easily push files over. Did I capture that right?
We don’t have the API on our roadmap just yet, but once we do, we’ll definitely keep this feedback in mind.
