Can we call list folder api under team space root and meanwhile filtering out the personal folder?

Hi,

We've developed applications about dropbox. We found that in the document, (eg. see https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-list_folder) there is no way to filter out the personal folder if we call list folder api (eg. https://api.dropboxapi.com/2/files/list_folder) under team space root (eg. call with Dropbox-API-Path-Root header and root_namespace_id of team, with recursive being true).

We want to list only team folders under the team space root because we want to separate personal folders and team folders and deal with each of them in different applications. However, it seems that we have to filter out the personal folder items one by one with the home path prefix. We consider this an serious performance issue, and we really need a way to filter out personal folder and it's subfolders and subitems by list_folder api itself.

Is there any method to perform such filtering on team space, and show only team folders, not personal folder? (eg. We want to list all other team folders in once, and not one by one, we know that using path parameter we can specify "a" folder to be the root for listing.)

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Ethan Fang

The API doesn't offer an option exactly like that, but I'll pass this along as a feature request. I can't promise if or when that might be implemented though.

The closest option currently is 'include_mounted_folders: false' (since member folders are mounted in the context of the team space), but that would also exclude other types of mounted folders. That also only excludes the contents under those folders, but would still list the entry for the folder itself.
