Is it possible for /delta or any other API to return just the first-level children of a given path_prefix?

I am trying to create a list of files/folders for a given path. I only want to have the first-level or the direct children of the path. But, the /delta API seems to be doing a DFS.

This isn't possible with /delta, but it is the behavior of /metadata.
