Is it still possible to use OAuth2 implicit grant flow within a Java Webview

I have a Java desktop application and am trying to let users upload their data to dropbox. Have not been able to determine if its not recommended to use a webview or it is not possible anymore. Can someone clarify this for me, and if it is not possible now then is the only option I have left to use a system browser to do this authentication?

Per the documentation for the /oauth2/authorize page, this should be processed in the user's system browser, not a web view.
