Search not returning all results in v2

In version v2 , only prefix based search is working. I have a file DISADVANTAGE.JPEG in my account. In version V1, on searching substring "dis" or "adv" , Search result contained this file. However ...

This is the expected behavior, per the API v2 /search documentation:

 

"query String The string to search for. The search string is split on spaces into multiple tokens. For file name searching, the last token is used for prefix matching (i.e. "bat c" matches "bat cave" but not "batman car")."

 

Since you're only supplying one token, that is the last token, which is used for prefix matching. We'll consider this a feature request for a way to do this the old way instead.
