Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes including the following:
 
Features in this update:

  • Faster start-up time on volumes with disabled USN change journal on Windows.
  • Files and folders now retain their online-only/offline status when moved.

 
Fixes in this update:

  • Fixed an issue where users were seeing Dropbox Vault folders in selective sync UI.
  • Fixed a Filesystem warning issue when moving folders.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Setup button to be disabled when setting up computer backup.

Just updated from Stable Build 171.4.6182 on my Silicon iMac. What a difference.

 

It's actually slowwwwwwwwwwwer to launch!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This release was reposted due to some users experiencing problems accessing the build. All of the posts contain the correct link, but we will go ahead and clean these threads up to eliminate any confusion.

What do Dropbox user levels mean?
