Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes including the following:

 

Features in this update:

  • Beginning rollout of change to have Desktop shortcut point directly to Dropbox folder on Windows.

Fixed in this update:

  • Fixed an issue causing unlocalized text in UI display.
  • Made Dropbox for macOS on File Provider notifications dismissible.

    Every update takes Dropbox longer to launch on my Silicon iMac. It takes at least a minute now and usually doesn't bother connecting at all!!

     

    How can you rely on cloud storage like this?

     

    I've had enough. I'm off to Google Drive!
