I have seen many post over the years on this and I wanted to know if this is even been pick up to be developed. I have not renewed dropbox for a long time as this is the main feature I am looking for. When would this be available?
@Hannahlike @Pt08 said there have been MANY threads over the years about this, they get locked after a period of time and we more threads get opened, as if this is somehow a new request. The 5 votes here are not representative. There are many more users who want this feature.
I'm a long time Dropbox user who also uses Google to backup photos because I need live photo upload and backup. I'm trying to justify paying for both services and frankly it doesn't make sense. I've love to drop Google and use Dropbox exclusively.
Myself and many others would greatly appreciate adding support for uploading Live Photos to DropBox. There seem to be many forums discussing the lack of this feature, and this could bring many potential customers to using this service, as Dropbox has a lot that other cloud services don’t offer, except they’re missing this very basic functionality.
Hey everyone, it’s 2023 Amazon, google and Microsoft all support Live Photos. Dropbox wants the leader of cloud storage later Cloud storage is dead last in features and technology, functionality and ease-of-use. They have no intention on improving anything just keeping what’s there working. It’s just a big cash grab at this point save your money and get out while you can.
