I was surprised to find that the Photos tab in Dropbox online (i.e. at Dropbox.com) contains bookoo pics from wayyyy back. I've always deleted pics from the iPhone after naming and saving the ones I want to keep on my PC (in Dropbox folders of my own (conscious) creation). In Dropbox it says, "Camera uploads is turned off." Don't believe I've ever intentionally told Dropbox to save all photos.74Views0likes4CommentsCamera uploads files are heavy and sync slowly due to that. How to stop syncing new files?

I downloaded Dropbox again yesterday after several years, and it asked for permission to access my photos â I allowed it. Immediately, my photos started uploading to Dropbox in real-time. It's been a while, but I don't know where to ask, so I'm writing it down ă I'm inquiring again after giving up because there was no answer even if I asked the customer center on the drop box website. I think it was around the end of last year.. I was told to upload the camera while using the drop box, so I synchronized it and saw the size of the drop box getting bigger I deleted the camera upload file inside the drop box, but the photo and video file were deleted on my smartphone (iPhone)ă This did not happen immediately, but I deleted the camera upload file in the drop box first About a month? Afterwards, the system update was going on on my smartphone (I wasn't updating it about 2 times) I was looking at the photos and videos and they were disappearing one by one in front of my eyes ă I couldn't stop it... There was no file even if it went into the deleted file ă ă I tried to upgrade the dropbox pricing plan, but the camera upload file did not appear in the recovery list. ă Is there any way...? Please help me ă There are many precious files and pictures103Views0likes1CommentI deleted a photo from my phone and it got deleted from Dropbox

hi, I have moved a lot of pictures out of Camera Uploads into other folders. Camera Uploads only shows a few photos (that's fine) but many more show under Photos tab. When in Photos- how can I tell what folder a specific photo is in? And, how does Photos work? is it like a permanent list of every photo that used to be in Camera Uploads? Please help me understand. Thanks!911Views0likes3CommentsRemove photos from local Android device after adding them to Dropbox via camera uploads.
I wanted to use my dropbox account to be able to backup my files and remove them after a period of time from my phone, so files say older than a couple of months are only available online. And just keep the most recent ones in my android phone. It would be nice also to do this for different folders.209Views0likes3Comments
