New files from camera uploads not showing in the Photos tab in iOS 26 (17promax)
Device iPhone 17 pro max Operating System/Browser (if using the web) iOS 26 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 444.2.2 Question or Issue Moving to a new iPhone and installed dropbox app. However, camera uploads is very buggy. It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.
How do I stop Dropbox from uploading every single picture on my PC?
I use Dropbox on my computer to backup my work files which include my 3D renders that consist in a png sequence (one image per frame at 30 or 60fps), so I have thousands of png images related to renders but dropbox automatically adds them to the camera uploads in my phone app which is extremely annoying because I need to scroll down thousands of images to see my actual photos... if I delete them it deletes my render backup as well, it does the same thing for textures, which makes my photo roll unusable.
How can I stop my desktop photos and videos from uploading to my Dropbox account?
Hi guys, I am trying to stop Dropbox Desktop from uploading my photos and videos from my desktop. When I go into Preferences > Backups > Camera Uploads, the only two option I get are "upload photos only" or "upload photos and videos". I do not want to upload any photos or videos. There is no option to turn this off. Am i missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
It takes a while for my Android to upload my camera roll
So it looks like dropbox doesn't immediately upload my camera roll. It usually takes several hours but sometimes it never seems to happen. I read the help guides about battery optimization for Android but the settings are way different on my end. It used to work fine, suddenly I have to manually upload them. AFAIK, I have all the settings correct, and I didn't change anything.
iPhone camera uploads stopped uploading since April 2025

"Camera Uploads > on" Question or Issue I went to check my iphone photos in dropbox and realised that I've had no further images since 1 April 2025. According to the camera uploads settings I have it toggled "on" and upload come from "camera roll" + "all photos" + including videos "on". The only option I have is: "turn off camera uploads". I have plenty capacity remaining on Dropbox and I am unsure how to restart photos taken since April 2025. Any clues.?
