Text highlighting not visible when exporting to Word
When I highlight text in a Paper document in my browser and then export it to MS Word, the highlighting gets lost. Bold, italics, underlined instead are all working as expected and are retained. I tried a few tips, but none of them worked: - copying text from the browser and pasting into the Word doc directly - using incognito mode - viewing the Word document online or in the desktop app makes no difference either - exporting to pdf first and then converting to Word doc (pdf has highlights but they get misplaced when converting to Word) Devices: Macbook Air (M4), Sequoia 26.2, tried both on Firefox(146.0.1) and Safari(Version 26.2 (21623.1.14.11.9)). Dropbox Version is 239.3.8100 but as I use the browser it might not matter. Dell Pro 13 Plus Windows 11 Enterprise (24H2) Edge Browser (143.0.3650.96)
Export folder of scattered files on Android to access from a third party app
Hello, I'm on Android, trying to access files from a third party app. I can't seem to find the files on the local device even when I have them marked as offline accessible. I see there's a way to export an individual file, but the large number of files I'm trying to have access to are spread through a bunch of folders and I need to keep the folder structure intact, so it's not feasible to manually download each file. Is there a way to get my Dropbox files into a folder that I can access with a third party app somehow? This seems like a pretty basic use case so I'm frustrated I can't seem to find a way to do it.
Easiest way to transfer files from Dropbox to Google Drive on Windows?
Hey guys, So I’ve finally decided to switch over from Dropbox to Google Drive, but now I’m stuck with a mountain of files and folders that I need to move. I’m on Windows, and honestly, the idea of downloading everything from Dropbox and then uploading it all again to Drive sounds like a nightmare (my internet isn’t the fastest either). Has anyone here actually done this before? Is there some trick or tool that can make this less painful? Would really appreciate any advice or shortcuts—don’t want to spend my whole weekend staring at progress bars!
