Allow users to make the dl=1 option the default for shared links
Hola, Me gustaría sugerir una mejora importante para la funcionalidad de compartir archivos. Mi idea es poder generar un enlace que anule la vista previa y fuerce la descarga automática de un archivo al hacer clic en él. Actualmente, el enlace de descarga directa (?dl=1) fuerza la descarga, pero la vista previa sigue siendo una opción por defecto para la mayoría de los usuarios si acceden al enlace de manera estándar. Sería mucho más útil si hubiera una opción que combinara ambas funciones. Esta característica sería fundamental para: Entregas profesionales: Poder enviar archivos a clientes y colegas sabiendo que se descargarán directamente sin la posibilidad de una vista previa. We previously had the ability to request files directly from Windows File Explorer, but that functionality has been removed. We rely heavily on this feature, and its removal has already made our workflow more cumbersome. Currently, to request files online, we have to navigate into a folder, click an obscure settings icon, select “Add folder,” and then find “Request files” within that menu. This multi-step process is unnecessarily inefficient. While there is a prominent “Request files” button at on your requests page, using it requires scrolling through hundreds (or even thousands) of folders to locate the correct destination, which is not practical. Could you please add a clearly visible “Request files” button or option directly on each folder’s page? Having this available at the folder level would significantly improve usability and efficiency.
Remove login or sign-up popup when sharing a link.
how do I get rid of this frustrating pop up when sharing a link with a client? We're a paid dropbox business member and I get a tonne of clients telling me they cant access the files because of this popup. Needs to able to be switch this off. I pay to have ability to share files externally so either make it free and keep the pop up, or let me turn it off. So the use case is based on the desire of having sensitive information on Dropbox and eliminating the possibilty of accidentally sharing it with someone. The idea is for an option to manually turn off shareability of a folder. That way I dont accidentally create a link in a flurry and send our finances to a customer. There are other cloud services I could use that do this just for that information but who needs more passwords to remember.
