I am getting extremely tired of getting "You're running out of space!" notifications. I'm not running out of space. I have more than 1GB free. If these don't stop, I think I'll just move everything to iCloud Drive and delete Dropbox.Solved297Views0likes11CommentsDropbox Business: Disable "Request an invitation" popup for users after sharing
Using Dropbox Business Standard: When a user shares a folder with external users via their email, they get this pop-up: This is leading to numerous requests from users, not realizing that this is unnecessary in order to share their folder. Each requests results in a notification email, badge, and needing to deny the request. We do not want to add externals to our team at all. In our admin console, we have disabled "Members can invite people". However, they can still make these requests. Could you please provide a way to disable this popup? Thank-you!37Views0likes1CommentDropbox tells me that I'm over-quota, but I only see 2.4GB of files.

Dropbox tells me that I use 3.03GB of 3GB. However, I can see that my dropbox folder has 2,4GB. I have checked the cache as well and it is empty. Is there a bug or something that I miss? Thanks in advance!Solved49Views0likes4CommentsRemove notification about running out of space
I’ve been using dropbox for 10+ years and i’ve always kept it at the limit of storage, so I already know I’m at the limit, I don’t want to read it everytime I turn on my computer or everytime I use dropbox on my phone. Can u add a check to “dont show this message again”?45Views0likes1CommentTurn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick! My Dropbox plan downgraded from 2TB to 2GB. My uploaded files are 300GB, and I understand that new file uploads are impossible, but existing files won't be deleted. Instead,I'm getting a notification that files may be deleted. Even if my plan is lower, won't the files in shared folders provided by others be deleted?Solved96Views0likes4CommentsPersistent Indicator for Files with Unresolved Comments
Currently, Dropbox shows a comment notification only when a comment is new or unread. Once the comment is read, the indicator disappears even if the comment is not resolved. This makes it hard to see which files still require attention. I would like Dropbox to introduce a persistent visual indicator (badge, icon, number, highlight, or any small marker) that appears whenever a file has unresolved comments, regardless of whether they have been read already. Why this matters: Teams use comments for review and approvals. After reading a comment, there is no quick way to see that the file still needs action. Users must open each file and check the comments panel to find unresolved comments. This leads to missed feedback and slower collaboration. How it could work: Show a small badge next to the file name in the file list when unresolved comments exist. In the file preview, show a subtle “unresolved comments” indicator even if all comments are read. User impact: This would help teams working with shared documents by making outstanding work visible at a glance, reducing mistakes and speeding up reviews.81Views1like1CommentMy Dropbox account contains less than 100MB of data, but it keeps saying it's full.
