We are aware of the issue with the badge emails resending to everyone, we apologise for the inconvenience
Hi everyone, We are aware of the issue with the badge emails resending to everyone. We are very sorry for this, as many of you are aware weâre in the process of migrating the site and unfortunately that re-triggered the badge emails. We totally understand your frustration, but we want to reassure you that we are working on turning them off. Just to clarify, this website is hosted on a community platform to allow us to connect with you, so this is not directly connected to your Dropbox account. This is frustrating, but we want to assure you that there has not been a breach, and our security protocols are still in place. We are sorry for this inconvenience and confusion, and we hope you can bear with us while we work on this. Our intention was only to improve the Dropbox Community forum, and we are hoping that our technical glitch wonât deter you from being part of the Community with us. Your Community team.SolvedAmy2 years agoCommunity Manager4.1KViews22likes64CommentsReceiving hundreds of emails
Have received 100's of emails from purported Dropbox users asking to be removed from a mailing list. Each has 22 CCs. Everytime someone replies, more spam is generated. Major issue. Reported to Dropbox support, awaiting response. Problem is ongoing - got another bunch while trying to report the problem. Dropbox impenetrable "support" system is part of the problem. I'd pay to speak with a human but can't find a way. Any ideas? Please help.SolvedJmb8252 years agoHelpful | Level 52.3KViews3likes8CommentsPublish to social media from Dropbox!
Hello! My name is Amanda. My team is building a feature to help users publish videos to their final destination â whether thatâs social media, YouTube, your website, or elsewhere. We hear this task is repetitive and tiresome, and you shouldnât have to waste time downloading and uploading videos to multiple places. Starting today, you can publish videos and photos directly from Dropbox to Instagram and Facebook**. Simply open a video or photo on www.dropbox.com, and click "Publish". Soon, weâll let you schedule posts in advance, and post to YouTube. Note: This feature isnât widely available to all users yet â if you donât see the Publish button, reply to this thread with âopt-inâ and we'll give your account access. đ If youâd like to collaborate and help shape the future of this feature, reply with âIâm ok for Dropbox to contact me by emailâ and we will reach out. **You must have an Instagram Business account and a Facebook Page to publish from Dropbox. See this article for support. ***Update - this feature has been temporarily postponed and there is no longer an "opt-in" option for it. Thank you for your continued patience.***Solvedamandachin2 years agoDropbox Product Manager25KViews8likes32CommentsNew DropBox changes
I have a Basic plan and I am happy. I currently have enough storage. Reading the info about the new plan has left me confused. 1. Since I am happy, if I leave everything alone, will my files continue to be on the DropBox website and on my hard drive? 2. Some posts indicated that their hard drive folders were all duplicated. What is that about? Mine look normal today. 3. Can I continue to use folders on dropbox.com as I have been doing? 4. Clearly DropBox is excited about new services they are offering. Do I have to take any action? If so, what. Hoping that if I do nothing will I maintain my wonderful, perfect, just what I need status quo?SolvedSuzanne G.34 years agoExplorer | Level 411KViews0likes3Comments
